Bill is the co-founder of the global #TRU events (The Recruiting Unconference).

Since 2009 he’s traveled to 4 continents and shared not only his passion, but also his experiences with social recruitment campaigns. His most famous clients are Hard Rock Cafe and Oracle, but he’s always up for a new challenge.

Jacco Valkenburg

Jacco is a recruitment expert from the Netherlands. But he’s also a trainer and author of two books on LinkedIn. As founder of recruit2 and Recruiter University he provides companies with recruitment and talent management solutions and expertise. His mission is to help companies get ‘from good to great staffing’.

Olivier A. Maillard

Olivier A. Maillard is an Innovation and Social Media Consultant from Switzerland. Previous to this he also worked for the professional social network Xing and for Monster/JobPilot.

But Olivier is a man who wears many hats. So he’s also a trainer and key note speaker as well as a lecturer at the HEG – Geneva Business School. On top of this he’s in charge of Business Development for the Swiss-French part of Switzerland for Prospective Media Solutions, the Swiss leader in cutting-edge e-recruiting solutions.

But most of all, Olivier A. Maillard is passionate about helping companies of all sizes achieve success by using innovative solutions and new technologies.

Antoine Lhosmot

Antoine Lhosmot is an online talent communication specialist, leading Potentialpark’s activities in Switzerland, France and in some international HR communication projects.

Guillaume Anthoine

Guillaume Anthoine is a sociologist by trade. This means that he really likes to test assumptions and compare the results with data while building and fostering relationships online and offline. This is why it’s no wonder that Guillaume’s feeling right at home in the world of social media.

After working in the fields of education and IT security Guillaume joined a municipality in the canton of Geneva as a careers adviser. He then defined their Economic Development strategy while at the same time developing an action plan for communications and recruitment through social media channels. He is also a passionate community manager who launched and manages several successful LinkedIn discussion groups in Switzerland.

Guillaume Anthoine works for the professional social recruitment network JobGo and is in charge of their implementation and development in Switzerland.

Rob van Elburg

Rob van Elburg is a Specialist in Global IT Recruitment from the Netherlands and the founder of RAVE-cruitment, a full-service ICT recruitment agency.

He is also the founder of RIDE, The Recruitment Industry Dance Event. This networking party gathers more than 1’000 recruiters annually in Amsterdam.

JB Aloy

JB Aloy JB is a research specialist always looking for the right HR metrics.

He worked as a consultant in labor relations and social communications before joining the employee research practice of Ipsos. Now based in Paris, he spent 3 years in Toronto to develop this business line in North America. Over the last years, he was a speaker at several high-profile events, in both Canada and France.

He has extensive experience working with clients to measure, manage and impact employee engagement. In addition, he designs and manages employer brand / EVP research programs, as well as a variety of ad-hoc projects to assess corporate values, to test recruitment campaigns, to audit internal communications, and to evaluate HR management policies and practices..

Ivo Bottcher

Ivo Bottcher is a Social Media enthusiast with a cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural background. He’s the Co-Editor of a German Social Media Blog with relevant experience in Social Media Marketing from the US. Within the last 12 months Ivo analyzed different Applicant Tracking Systems and focused on the use of HR and Social Media from an applicant’s perspective.

Besides his passion for Social Media, Ivo is a Master’s candidate in Political Science/International Relations. His research focuses on challenges and the added value of integrating “Voluntary and Technical Communities” into existing international humanitarian crisis and disaster response.

Sara J. Wyke

Sara J. Wyke is a social media enthusiast originally from the UK but working in Switzerland for the last 5 years.

She is currently working at CERN as a recruiter where she has honed her high-volume recruitment skills as well as her technical knowledge as she hires profiles from Accelerator Physicists to Librarians! Previously she was in a stand-alone HR generalist role in a mid-sized NGO where she was supporting the executive leaders with a strategic change management programme.

Sara has been an active member of the UK based ConnectingHR network and attended her first unconference with them last year. She is passionate about embracing new technology without losing sight of the people at the core of her business. She is also never afraid to play devil’s advocate and ask the tough questions.

Haylee Corfield

Haylee is a digital marketing consultant with an online recruitment background and a keen eye on social media.

Originally from kiwi land, Haylee has spent the last 8 years in the UK in University recruitment marketing and more recently as Marketing Manager for an online recruitment software company who hosts and has launched over 40 client job sites, regional portals, and national niche job boards.

Having recently shifted to Geneva, she started consulting for businesses that want to outsource aspects of their digital marketing, social media, search and content marketing to kick start it, mould it, or just start using it properly and launched the website Social-Eyes.me.  She’s looking forward to her first attendance at a #Tru event (and not just the social networking in the pub), and whilst not being an HR specialist by trade, looks forward to feeding the #TruGeneva discussions.

Etienne Besson

Etienne is an HR professional from Switzerland. For the last 15 years he’s considered the “virtual” world as much his home as the so-called “real” world.

After attending more than half a dozen #Tru events he decided that it was time to organize #TruGeneva, although (or maybe because) some German bloggers still consider Switzerland to be a developing country in terms of social recruitment.
